What happens when you edit a photo
Your browser shrinks the photo to at most 1600 px and sends it, with the edit you chose or typed, to our server. The server forwards it to the AI model through OpenRouter and returns the result to you. The photo and result exist only in memory while the request runs. Your typed instruction is checked against our content rules before it is sent; we do not keep the instruction text.
Service providers
- OpenRouter and the model provider it routes to (Google for Gemini, ByteDance for Seedream) process the photo to produce the edit, under their own terms. We do not ask them to store it.
- Stripe processes payments. We receive your email, the pack and the payment status — never your card details.
- Google sign-in (optional) gives us your email address and a stable account id.
- Vercel hosts the site and Supabase hosts the database with the records above.
- Cloudflare Turnstile may check that the free edit comes from a real browser.
- Google Analytics and a self-hosted Umami count page views and anonymous events (for example “edit succeeded”). They never receive photos, instructions or emails.
Cookies
One first-party cookie keeps your session (credits and the daily free edit) working without an account. Analytics use their own cookies or none (Umami). There is no advertising tracking.
Retention
Edit records are kept up to 90 days for limits, refunds and abuse prevention, then deleted. Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires. Delete your account and data any time by emailing us from the address you signed in or paid with.
Children
The service is not for children under 13, and you must not upload photos of children you are not the parent or guardian of.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion. Email us and we answer within 30 days. See also our terms.
